I became a serious birder in 2006. I get outside and combine my interests of birding, nature, and photography as often as possible.
I’ve led birding trips for Michigan Audubon and was on its Board of Directors for three years. Currently, I enjoy doing birding/nature education presentations which have been well received in and outside of Michigan. Please see the Testimonials.
I’ll always stop birding to pet a dog. This warm hearted boy came over to me while I was Grouse birding in Colorado. Photo by Scott Sneed.
Accomplishments: In June, 2018 I was lucky enough to see my 600th North American bird species.
Awards: 2nd Place winner - Michigan Nature Association 2018 photo contest - People in Nature
